Decorative pair of hand-colored military costume lithographs depicting officers from the Italian states of Rome and Tuscany. The works originate from the renowned costume series documenting ecclesiastical, civil, and military dress of the Italian regions during the early nineteenth century.

One lithograph depicts a Tambour Major (Drum Major) of the First Regiment of Tuscany, while the second portrays an Officer of the Line Troops of Rome, both rendered in vibrant period uniforms with meticulous hand coloring. The sheets bear French and Italian inscriptions and publication references to Paris and Florence, reflecting the widespread European interest in military costume studies during the post-Napoleonic era.

Professionally matted and housed in gilt rope-twist frames, these lithographs offer excellent decorative appeal for traditional interiors, libraries, studies, and collections devoted to military history or Grand Tour-era prints.

Condition: Very good decorative condition. Prints exhibit expected age toning, minor foxing, and light discoloration consistent with age. Frames display minor surface wear and scattered finish losses. Not examined outside of frames.
