An oil on canvas depicting the Virgin Mary and Jesus, with Mary wearing a vivid red gown with gilt detailing and Jesus in a gray gown with gilt detailing, sitting against a dark background with red curtains decorating the corner. Displayed in an ornately carved wood frame, with a dome-topped rectangle border surrounding the painting, flanked by pairs of fluted columns and flourishing scrolls. The columns support an intricate bonnet top with borders of relief curves, pierced scrolls, and a central swirling finial on pedestal. The columns rest on a flat edge, below which emerges a vasaform central finial surrounded by a curving flourish.
