A wonderful antique Queen Anne ladderback chair showcasing three double curved splats along nicely turned posts with tall finials in a beautiful warm brown finish. The seat is woven in a double-banded basketweave pattern, raised over simple turned legs with a double box stretcher. Topped with a loose cushion in white fabric with a wonderful classical red pattern, affixed to the chair with ties around the back.
Condition
The seat has significant breaks to the weaving. Finish wear, scuffs, and nicks commensurate with age.
