A great assortment of majolica pottery. An oval platter and a circular salad plate feature matching hues of bark-like brown with scalloped yellow rims accented with green oak leaves, magenta flowers, and dainty butterflies. A pitcher and vase display corn designs with relief kernels overlaid with leaves, finished with pale pink interiors. A tall pitcher comes in cream with pale pink and green floral sprays above a pine cone or acorn themed body. A medium pitcher sports a faceted body in cream with a light blue border, decorated with a magenta flower and a branch-like handle. A small pitcher comes in the shape of a yellow-cream pouch with red polka dots, displaying a pink-purple interior and a twisted rope handle. The collection finishes with a cream plate in a basket weave texture, adorned with a large floral spray at the center.
Condition: Pieces display well with expected wear commensurate with age and good use. Light crazing and discoloration. Most pieces have glaze wear around the rims. The pine cone pitcher and faceted pitcher have discolored hairline cracks. Please refer to the pictures as they are part of the condition report.
