Moshe Tzvi Halevi Berger (Romanian, b. 1924) Lithograph “Psalm 25: 1-2” Edition 147/468 depicts a colorful and whimsical representation of one of the verses from hebrew biblical scriptures. One sees in a gentle application of color after a watercolor painting, a butterfly emerging from the left with layers of music notes rippling through waves of color. Handwritten signature in pencil with edition number and title below printed info from plate, lower left and right. Genuine stamp printed from the artists gallery, The Museum of Psalms, lower right. Beneath glass in a silver metallic frame.
Condition: In overall good condition with expected signs of age including some cosmetic wear to frame, and slight wave to paper but in well preserved condition.

Berger’s background as a Holocaust survivor and a Levite - a descendant of the ancient Israelite tribe of Levi, whose members were chosen to serve in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, singing the Psalms with musical accompaniment, has impacted his art.
