DETAILS:
A rare and fine clock with fabulous marquetry and string inlay throughout. The base with a floral motif and corner garlands. The mid-case door showcases inlaid flowers, acanthus leaves, trailing vines, on a beautifully striped mahogany surface as does the top. The columns are stop fluted and the capitals are gilt brass. The face with intricate foliate relief brass work, roman numerals. The movement has eight bells, plus a gong. Raised on bracket feet.
