This work by Mike Glier, titled "Clubs of Virtue" was created in 1979. These pieces of wood include some which are fractured and jagged but of the artists intention. Each piece of wood or club had a word painted on with latex paint. These words include wisdom, patience, endurance, car, economy, efficiency, voice, pleasure, division, glory, clarity, elegance, power, modesty, dignity, honor appetite, warmth, will and strength.
These clubs are not affixed to one and another and can be arranged in whatever order you so choose.

Condition: As can be seen in the lot images, each piece of wood does exhibit some signs of wear and is fractured with sharp edges abound. These fractures and jagged edges are the artists intention.
