Item Description
This object is the case for a chandelier but no light, chain or wall mount are included.
Fabulous mid century modern lucite and string pendant chandelier case, in the style of Paul Secon.
The shaped oval case has 7 grey hued lucite flanges with filament string woven through the exterior lending the casing a futuristic aesthetic. There are circular sections at both the top and bottom attaching the 7 flanges together, in addition to the string being strung through.
One could likely buy the wall mount with chain and bulb and retro fit the case to it.
Additionally, the case has a wonderful modernist presentation and if not as a chandelier shade or case, the item presents well as modern sculpture and could surely be repurposed as a stand alone sculpture.
