Item Description
Mid 20th century Neoclassical style painted chair. Shaped and gilt cresting rail over an ebonized cartouche leading to a pierced splat. Flanked by scrolled arms leading to embellished arm supports and seat rail and raised on tapering fluted legs. Featured in an antique green with gilt trim and having an upholstered seat.
Two front legs with heavy cracking and evidence of past repairs with one being loose, craqueleur to finish and also checking as represented in photography. Still a gorgeous chair.
The chair measures 39 1/4"h x 24"w x 19 1/2"d
