Mid-19th century Neo-Grec parlor chair attributed to Horter Brothers. With an ornately scroll carved crest with a centralized medallion with a hand-painted portrait depicting a young beauty. With a shaped elongated back leading down to an oversized seat flanked by two short arms with carved foliate motifs. With gilt painted accents throughout. Raised on tapering and turned legs ending in front casters.
Overall good condition with the frame having some signs of minor expected wear. Appears to have been recently reupholstered.
Measures 35 1/2" h. x 24" w. x 22" d.
