Marvelous pair of Chinese, Qing Dyn., 17th - 19th century, sang de bouef glazed porcelain vases with fitted, openwork decorated, wood stands. The vases are baluster form with trumpet / beaker from necks which flare outward toward the mouth rims.
The fabulous thick glaze covers nearly the entire body, from the mouth rim down to the thicker, pooled glaze ending just above the foot ring which itself is unglazed.
Both vases have been glazed to the underfoot and interior with a wonderfully hued, pale celadon to white hued glaze.
Both vases are formed slightly asymmetrical, not uncommon for antique Qing Dynasty monochrome vases, as they are completely handmade and hand decorated.

Condition: There is chipping and wear, with possible old restorations to the unglazed foot rings on both vases which are concealed when standing in their fitted wood stands. Both vases also exhibit crackles within the glaze which can only be seen when closely examining and may be original to the vases after firing or have formed later on but even with crackles within the luminous glaze, the pair are structurally solid and present with a majestic quality that's awe inspiring.
