Item Description
Original purchase price $1,800.
This original painting by Mario Sotolongo titled "Slot" was painted in 1986. The work was constructed of two rectangular canvases that have been constructed to meet in the middle with one on the right side and the lower on the left. The overall painted surface has a mottled amber hue with a central white line that zigs from the center of the upper canvas down through the center of the lower canvas. The painting has a gallery label affixed on verso denoting the work was sold through the John Good Gallery and as being by "MARIO SOTOLONGO / "SLOT", 1986 / acrylic on canvas / 35 1/4" x 27 1/4"
There is also an auction tag which can be seen in the lot images.
Condition: There is light surface wear to the canvas but overall presents well.
