Margret Preston (Australian, 1875-1963) lithograph, "Platylobium" after a hand-colored woodcut from 1925, depicting the cluster of orange toned flowers along a vertical composition. The flower blooms during the spring time and is native to south eastern Australia. Plate signature near the lower right above, 'Printed by the Australian National Gallery, Canberra, in 1986. Presented beneath glass in a brass toned metal frame that is wired.
Condition: With expected signs of age and wear including light marks to frame but hardly noticeable.
Framed measures: 23 1/2"l x 19 1/2"w x 1"d; s.s.: 22 3/4"l x 18 1/2"w
