Item Description
This wonderful set includes:
- An H. Adlard hand colored engraving after artist W. H. Bartlett’s "Light House Near Caldwell's Landing / (Hudson River). The print features a rough water pier with white cast sailboats in the bay and a lighthouse tucked into the distance of the hills. The print is titled along the bottom. The print also states "London, Published for the Proprieters by Geo. Virture, 26 Ivy Lane, 1838."
- A G.K. Richardson hand colored engraving of W. H. Bartett's "Crow-Nest From Bull Hill / (Hudson River)
- An Engraved print by G. W. Wellstood of a painting by David Johnson's "Mouth of the Moodna on the Hudson" printed in New York, D. Appleton & Co.
- R. Brandard hand colored engraved print of W/H. Barlett's painting "View From Huggle's House, Newburgh / (Hudson River)"
All are approximately 7"H x 9"W - sight

Condition: All are nicely preserved and framed, matted and glazed. Some seem like the matting may cut off the publishing information at the bottom of the page but overall they present very well. There is a tear to the back paper which has been taped for preservation but overall the lot of four displays well!
