A lovely Lexington armoire in warm cherry wood, one piece, featuring a bonnet top with carved foliate flourish, finely gadrooned trim, and fluted columnar sides. The armoire opens at the front with two pocket doors decorated by recessed panels outlined by twisted borders, revealing a double-tiered stand with extending surfaces. The main body rests on an elegantly curved beveled mid-section, with three drawers following the curved form. The lower body faces with two doors, opening to reveal a two-tiered shelf with lower extending surface and three drawers with slotted tops. Manufacturer's mark on interior of furthest right drawer.
Condition: Displays well with light surface scratches and tarnishing to brass handles. The lower right door is missing its knob.
