Item Description
An Antique French dressing table with decorative and contrasting inlaid top. The Hinged flip top Louis XV style lady's dressing table or poudreuse, features its hinged top opening to reveal interior hinges storage compartments flanking a central drawer. The table stands upon four cabriole legs.
Dimensions: 24.6” wide by 14.12 deep by 28” high.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age and use include the top with old repair, see two bowties underneath the hinged table top. The single drawer is in locked position and its key is no longer with the item. The lock will have to be changed or a replacement key made. There is wear and stable age splits to the frame at joinery commensurate with age and use. Despite the wear the table retains an elegant French presentation.
