Item Description
Lot consisting of 2 Chinese glazed ceramic figures, "mudmen". Both men are depicted wearing wonderfully moulded and glazed robes, in seated positions. One man is displayed seated and leaned forward over a faux wood, glazed ceramic, table with a scroll and a tea bowl.
4 1/2"h x 8 1/4"l
The second depicts a man with a wonderfully glazed robe and beaded necklace, seated in lotus position, with his head looking downward towards his right hand. The figure rests within a carved wood stand. The figure does not fit perfectly within the stand but rests atop with a nicely presented appearance.

Condition: Each has breaks to the figures hands. One figure missing a digit of a finger to one hand and two digits on his opposite hand and the second figure has breaks to all fingers and it appears something the figure was gazing at has broken off. Despite the wear the vintage figures present handsomely.
