Loretta Gonzalez (American, 21st century), blue painting on large board, “Sugar Coated Memories.” Circa 2007. An incredibly deep painting of a parent and child, with references to an arrest report stamped throughout the surface. The scratched out words on the back even seem to be part of the overall message (see photos). Signed on the front and back by Gonzalez.
Dimensions: 24” W x 49” H x 2 3/4” D
Condition: Some dents, scuffs, and scratches to the wood edges and surface throughout that are part of the stye. Certain portions of the art are made to look like chipped paint. An outstanding and memorable wall hanger!
