Item Description
A fantastic likely Delft Late 19th Century porcelain mantel clock in white porcelain with blue details, fancifully decorated with textured swirls and flourishes around imagery of windmills at the base front. The clock displays behind beveled glass, reading with Arabic script-styled numbers and pierced hands, outlined by a stippled and zigzag brass border. The open back allows easy access to the clock mechanism, which is labeled "Waterbury Clock Co. Patented Jan.13.1891." The porcelain housing is not marked.
Condition: Displays well with wear commensurate with age, including crazing, light discoloration, and discreet chips at the uppermost flourish. Clock not tested.
