This specific edition was edited by Burton's close friend, Leonard C. Smithers, and published by H.S. Nichols & Co. in London.
The books Printed by the Kamashastra Society for Private Subscribers Only at top of title page. Copyright entered at Stationers Hall 1894. The books with Moroccan leather with raised spine, leather corners and marbleized boards and end-wraps. Gilt upper margins.
