About the Artist:
Leo Kahn was a German-born artist known for painting landscapes, still lifes, and portraits. Kahn served in the German army in 1914 before studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe. He moved to Paris for a time, exhibiting in both Germany and Paris before eventually settling in Israel, where he founded Israel's first textile printing factory.
