Item Description
The top of the serpentine commode is inlaid with a marquetry urn of flowers flanked by an all over design of trailing vines and flowers on a dark stained background. It has a cross-banded border with string inlay. The doors at the front with classical marquetry urns, birds and flowers within rectangular dark stained panels with angular corners and flower motifs. The doors open to reveal shelf storage and flanked by trailing bell flowers. The sides with similar marquetry designs, and the commode resting on four tapering and inlaid legs and terminating on block feet. Comes with key.
