Item Description
Late 18th-Early 19th Century majolica pair including large Victorian style jardiniere with a scalloped rim and base, embossed pattern in ombré glaze of red to green to brown. Finished red inside. The pitcher is in the shape of a pineapple with the rim and handle decorated as part of its leaves and finished in pink for the interior. Unmarked.
Condition: In overall good condition with expected signs of age and wear including some hairlining, crazing, loss of finish throughout particularly to rim, pineapple spikes & end of handle. Also there is a hairline around the exterior as shown in last photo.
