Item Description
Elegant Queen Anne lowboy with a dark brown finish and burled veneer. A beautiful top surface displays great knotted wood grain, with a beveled edge overhanging a one-over-three drawer configuration decorated with a large, fanned shell motif at the lower center. A nicely curved apron continues the motif, with a smaller shell center flanked by flourished carvings on cabriole legs. The unit finishes on attractive ball and claw feet.
Condition: Displays well with expected wear commensurate with age. Surface scratches, veneer checking, finish wear and discoloration and seen in pictures. Scuffs, nicks, and past repairs that blend nicely and do not significantly detract from appearance. Back right leg loose with signs of past repairs/alterations, will need to be secured.
