Item Description
A replica from the original six-panel series from the 16th century, "Hearing" displays two women with an organetto on a richly patterned tablecloth. The pair don elaborate blue and red gowns, and are flanked by a lion and unicorn wearing blue and red striped shields while holding matching flags. The scene is grounded on a blue circular base, floating in a red field decorated with floral sprays. Hung from a rod capped by carved gilt finials.
Condition: Displays well with minor wrinkling and a few loose threads. Wear to gilt finish on finials.
