This Kerry Joyce designed highly lacquered dining table is rectangular in form, raised on to lyre-shaped end supports. There are an additional two leaves with the table as well, easily fitting 10-12 people.
Unfortunately this fantastic dining tables has seen better days! The laquer has cracked at the center where it has completely fell apart and begun to recede and cause waves or a severe case of alligatoring to take place. The photos illustrate this, the diamond form decoration is due to the peeling of the laquer. It should have a flat, glossy appearance instead of what is happening. However with the right care and restoration the table could be the steal of the century!
29.5"H x 108"L x 52"W
Additional two leaves add 24"L each making it possible for the table to reach 156"L
Condition: In addition to the above mentioned severe laquer issue, there is only one metal leaf lock bracket to keep the table together. There should be two for the table without any leaves in place and with the added leaves several more are necessary to stabilize the table. It's likely these metal U form metal leaf locks can be replaced or made but would be necessary in order to support the table.
