“Les Maitres De L’Affiche” translates to (The Masters of the Poster). The series included prints 97 artists whom reproduced works into a smaller format and purchased by subscribed. This series referred to a suite of prints printed by Imprinerie Chaix, France, by artists whom saw a market with the enhancement of printing processes during the second half of the 19th century made works of smaller size for subscribed collectors.
Wear includes losses to the lower right hand trim, a loss to the lower left hand corner, the left mid trim, upper left corner, slight tears to the upper trim and a loss to the upper right corner.
