“Les Maitres De L’Affiche” translates to (The Masters of the Poster). The series included prints 97 artists whom reproduced works into a smaller format and purchased by subscribed. This series referred to a suite of prints printed by Imprinerie Chaix, France, by artists whom saw a market with the enhancement of printing processes during the second half of the 19th century made works of smaller size for subscribed collectors.
Wear including losses to the upper right corner, along the right trim, lower right corner, lower trim and left corner, left trim and upper left corner. Slight smudges to trim. Despite wear the print presents well.
