A wonderful John Jenkins (Welsh, 1803-1868) tall case clock in rich, medium brown wood showcasing a broken-bonnet pediment with brass rosettes and a ball and spike finial over beautiful openwork overlays on green plaques heralding a white dial with black Roman numerals surrounded by painted floral sprays at the corners. The straight body is flanked by columnar side over a simple rectangular base lifted on bracket feet.
