This mid century modern painting by Swedish artist John Boren (1903 - 1983) depicts a brightly painted image of a fishing boat with a hull seen docked off a wood dock with small buildings just on shore.
The small harbor dominates the main field of vision. Colors are vibrant and wonderful.
Signed lower right hand corner.
Börén was a mostly self-taught artist having regularly exhibited in the Skåne Art Association's exhibitions and with the Hörby Art Association.
His works are held in private collections and public, including the Malmö Museum and Southeast Skåne's Museum of Art.
