Item Description
"Grand Place du Chateau et de la Rue Royale prise du Coee des Arcades". A view of the Berlin city square with the old neoclassical palace decorated with sculptures along the roof and pastel painted buildings. Figures dressed in their finery are strolling in the square along with a carriage and a figure at his task with a cart. Rosenberg made a 1781 engraving of this view with different details in the square.
"Vue prise du pont, dit Fischer Brucke, jusque au pont Des Orphelins" Amsterdam. This is a view of Amsterdam from the two bridges with timber and stucco houses and docks along with figures in small boats. Rosenberg made this engraving in 1785.
Both lack titles due to the framing. Presented in carved and gilt frames with black and gilt eglomise matted glass.

Condition: Please review the photo details. The Berlin view has creases and flaking and losses to the painted skies. There is a crease down the middle on both. Some cracks and losses on the skies of the Amsterdam view as well. There are some chips and gilt losses to the frames mentioned for accuracy as the presentation remains extraordinary.
