This wall sculpture is a collaborative work by Jenny Pohlman (Am. b. 1960) and Sabrina Knowles (Am. b. 1955) who have worked together since 1992 as the Seattle based duo Pohlman Knowles. Their sculptures like the one pictured features a combination of hand-blown and sculpted glass, metals and found objects. This intricate wall hanging is inspired by their global travels.
Pohlman and Knowles have been honored with numerous awards and their work has been featured in exhibitions at various museums throughout the country. Their work has been published in Glass, Metalsmith, New Glass Review and the Seattle Times, featured in and on the cover of American Style magazine, and published in several books on glass art.
