Item Description
An inkjet on vinyl, part of the monumental collage, to celebrate the opening of the Hugo Boss flagship store on Fifth Ave., created by Jeff Koons in 2001.
Article from 2001 says: “NEW YORK -- More than 500 people turned out at the Hugo Boss flagship on Tuesday to celebrate the installation of artwork by Jeff Koons. Decorated in a Moroccan theme, the store's feeling for the evening was a "Zen-like atmosphere." The mural, created by Koons, took the space of an entire wall inside the Fifth Avenue store. After celebration was over, the mural was cut into 500 pieces and sold for $500 each. Koons signed each piece and chose to donate all money to The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.”
The panel signed in silver marker with iconic flower drawing and dated 2001.
