Item Description
A finely cast bronze sculpture by J. DiLorenzo, 20th century titled "The Cheyenne" after Frederick Remington. The sculpture depicts a Native American atop a rearing horse. No detail spared in the casting from the open mouth on the figure, his flying hair, raised textures throughout, the veins on the horse's face to the fine reins. Surmounted on a wood plinth base.
This is from the Museum Collection, numbered 22/1000 and dated 1980.
