Item Description
J.D. Dennison is an American contemporary artist. This current work is a fascinating and highly textural 3D-printed map of Manhattan. The work is part of a series of the largest cities in the USA, and world. The work has a black backboard affixed with 24 Eagle-Clips to hang the 24 corresponding 3D printed plaques with notable landmarks and structures.
Each of the 24 plaques is signed on verso, with its corresponding position to hang on the back board along with two Eagle-Clips which act like french cleats with one to mount on the back board and the other to keep level. The verso of each plaque additionally has its corresponding position to mount as the backboard does to for ease of storage, moving and hanging.
Condition
There are some buildings that have broken loose and can be seen in the image of the zip loc bag. There are some minor losses to the bridge structures but overall a fascinating and eye catching work of art.
