Antique brewery signage for Ind, Coope & Co., Burton on Trent, Great Britain. Sign circa 1890 -1900.
In 1856 company became known as Ind Coope and Company and the second brewery opened in Burton on Trent by Ind Coope.
This sign, with red and cobalt blue lettering, gilt embellishments, presented in a distressed gilt frame and glazed, with picture light.

Sight: 23 1/4" x 16 1/4"
Frame; 25 1/2" x 18 1/2"
Condition: old brown water stains to left and right vertical edges, small tear to right side, upper edge above OO and tear to the "D" upper left. Wear to the gilt embellishments consistent with age. Wear and losses to frame.
