Item Description
An important Edgar Brandt signed Art Deco iron floor lamp, "Les Roses" pattern, with an inverted bell formed amber hued glass shade, signed "Daum Nancy".
The iron floor lamp rests on its shaped circular base, marvelously decorated in openwork floral motif of leaves with spiral forms throughout. Rising upwards with vertical rods that slightly bulge towards the mid height, where a central section with stylized, openwork rose blossoms can be found. Continuing upwards the rods rise until the upper section where the lamp flares outward with marvelous openwork pattern of rose buds and coiled spirals. Contained within this top section is the amber hued glass shade of inverted bell form.
The iron base is stamped "E. BRANDT"
The glass shade is engraved, signed "DAUM NANCY"

Condition: The iron base in good overall form and presents fabulously. The signed glass shade has severe breaks which have been braced with glue and is stable but the repaired breaks should be noted. Overall a fantastic and important Edgar Brandt Art Deco floor lamp.
