A handsome tall and long buffet with great transitional Louis XVI influence, well crafted in warm-toned medium brown wood with striking figured veneers and marquetry designs creating an elegant design. The buffet features a rectangular top with cut front corners and short ogee trim overhanging three cabinet doors with X-form figuring and banded borders; the center door opens with a touch-latch and is further decorated with pretty foliate flourishes at the corners. The cabinet doors open to an array of shelves and two drawers at the center, raised over low bracket feet.
