Herend Hungary porcelain three-piece sauce or gravy set, hand-painted in the classic Rothschild Bird (RO) pattern and trimmed with 24K gold. This ensemble includes a gravy boat, underplate, and ladle, each adorned with depictions of colorful songbirds perched among leafy branches with necklaces and butterflies and insects in flight, a hallmark of the Rothschild Bird motif. The pieces are finished with scalloped edges, graceful curves, and basketweave-textured rims. The handles and rims are accented with hand-applied gilding, while the underside of each piece is marked with the Herend Hungary blue shield hallmark and crossed paintbrushes, along with HANDPAINTED and the form/pattern numbers:

Condition: Excellent overall. The set shows no chips, cracks, or repairs. The hand-painted decoration remains vivid and finely detailed, with crisp gilding and no notable wear. Each piece is fully marked and clean on the underside, with bright factory stamps and clear form numbers. Light rubbing on unglazed bases is typical for fine porcelain of this age and quality.
