Henry Terry & Co. 19th century column and splat mantle clock in medium-dark brown, displaying a triple-curve top over elegant ebonized domed columns flanking a glass paned door. The lower pane is beautifully reverse painted with stately white buildings on a white flower field under a vast blue sky. The square dial comes in a cream hue, finely decorated with raised scrolls around black Roman numerals. The interior features a small, domed brass pendulum. The back of the interior is lined with a paper label for Henry Terry & Co. Includes a winding key from Popular Progress, and a key to the door.
Condition: Displays well with expected wear commensurate with age. Light surface scratches, scuffs, nicks, and finish wear to the wood; a few spots of veneer loss. Horizontal bands of finish wear to the dial. Paper wear to the interior label as seen in pictures. The working condition has not been tested.
