The perspective is from the side or wing of the theater, with a view of the performers left side and back and a view of the well decorated theater and the audience.
The theme of theatrical performances is a common one, seen throughout Toulouse-Lautrec's ouevre. Toulouse-Lautrec frequented the Parisian, bohemian, night life with its many theaters and wide array of performances.
Condition
The lithograph on paper is pre-mounted to board. There are slight foxed spots and gentle wear but overall presents handsomely.
