Item Description
An impressive Helena Wolfsohn after Meissen circa 1880 hand painted miniature teapot on stout feet, in white porcelain with finely applied scenes of harbor townscapes with boats and hatted figures; outlined by gilt borders and red flourishes with purple and blue accents. The handle comes in a simple D-shape, while the spout is angled straight. The lid is decorated with tiny scenes echoing the body, and topped with a gilt bulb finial. Manufacturer's mark on bottom.
Condition: Displays well with light wear to finish.
