Hector Navarro was born in Mexico in 1937. His work has been primarily influenced by the 1950s and Post-War modernism with focused attention on his New York and American artistic peers during the period. His figural abstractions are highly expressionistic and creative.
This work depicts a field of blue, with two white cubes and what appears to be match sticks throughout the blue field. The image is both realistic and abstract and affords the viewer to encourage imagination.
