Harold Latham (British, 1888-1971) oil on board depicting a quaint river view along a horizontal composition, featuring the figure rowing his canoe pointing towards the arched building near the dock. A great diagonal horizon of trees line the distance with gestural controlled brushstrokes. In general earthy tones. Displayed within a gilt frame that is wired and title card el verso with provenance from auction.
Provenance: Accompanied with printout from Leland Little purchase, from the artist's estate.
Condition: With expected signs of age and wear including some marks to the frame but hardly detracts from appearance.
