Item Description
A beautifully carved mahogany settee having lattice form segmented back with elegantly curved arms, a caned seat (intact) with the two front legs having tapering fluted legs and the back two legs having a splayed form. A single green cushion completes the look and coordinates with the hand-painted flowers and leaves throughout. Bears a manufacturers plaque, Rho, Made in Italy.
44" long x 18" deep x 35" high; seat height is 20"
Overall condition of bench is good with the caning and painted accents intact, the legs and front of the frame have some minor nicks and wear, the cushion has some light wear to the gimp on front, as well as a light water stain to front and a small stain. These imperfections are minor and do not detract from he overall beauty of the piece. Sturdy.
