Item Description
A hand-knotted Iranian Hamedon wool room-sized rug featuring a primarily crimson main field with a central ivory medallion. Layered spandrels are rendered in a palette of navy, ivory, and a lighter blue. Repeating throughout the rug are hooked geometric figures with concentric diamonds at their center. Three borders of equal width are green, light blue, and dark red tones.
Measures 80” x 115”
Good condition; small areas of dye bleed (particularly against ivory) and one discolored patch approx. 6” x 4”. This carpet has been professionally cleaned and is house ready.
