A gorgeous pair of antique 18th / 19th century Chinese export famille rose decorated porcelain fan shaped dishes.
Decorated with a cell border on black ground there are bands of foliate decoration with gourds and fruiting branches, with a small division border with gilt fleur de lis' with a shaped interior reserve with floral decoration all on white ground.

Provenance: Purchased from Christie's Auction House as lot # 46 in their sale of June 18, 1996 for $345. with a Christie's sale tag denoting the information underfoot.
Condition: There is an area of repair to the rim of one. It can be best seen to the underside where the hue of the glaze is different than the rest of the body. It is likely an old restoration and was done quite well as it does not distinctly show through to the top side. Aside from this there is light wear to the painted finish to the bodies and rims, see attached lot photographs. The bowls are in overall good condtion and present magnificently.
