Mino da Fiesole (c. 1429 – July 11, 1484), also known as Mino di Giovanni, was an Italian sculptor from Poppi, Tuscany. He is noted for his portrait busts.
This is a gilt bonze bust bust of Battista Sforza (was Duchess of Urbino and second wife of Federico da Montefeltro) after Mino da Fiesole. The bust is mounted on a marble base and incised along the bottom Mino da Fiesole.
Dimensions: 9 1/4" L x 4 1/2" D x 9 1/2" H
Condition: verdigris oxidation to upper right portion of face, wear and scratches to finish.
