The roll-top opens to unfold and reveal a black leather-inset tooled writing surface and an interior fitted with three small drawers and a single shelf. The top rolls up when the writing surface is pulled out. The shaped apron is set with a central drawer, and the desk stands on cabriole legs with gilt mounts at the knees and sabots.
