Jose Jesus Francisco Zuniga, also known as Francisco Zuniga is a Costa Rican artist born in 1912 and died in 1998.
The artist has created a fabulous drawing using charcoal and pencil on paper which depicts a squatting woman with her hand underneath her chin in a white garment.
Signed and dated 1964 in ink to the lower left corner.
Presented matted and within an ornately carved and finished wood frame.
An old auction label from Winter 2021 from Shapiro Auction house can be seen on the reverse.

Condition: The paper is hinged along the upper edge with visible creases around the perimeter. The smudged charcoal can be seen to the mat under the woman's feet. Overall, the drawing is wonderfully framed andpresents very well.
